Shanghai International Automobile City
a) Basic information:
Shanghai International Automobile City is located in Anting, at the hub of the Yangtze River Delta region. It is a key construction project of the Shanghai municipal government's "10th Five-Year Plan". Since its construction started in 2001, it has expanded from the original planned area of 68 square kilometers (including five major areas: the core area, the vehicle and parts manufacturing area, the international racetrack, the education park, and the Anting new town area) to 98 square kilometers, with a total investment of over 100 billion yuan. New energy vehicles are regarded as an important support for further development.
Main functional projects that have been completed include Shanghai International Automobile City Tower, Shanghai International Automobile City Parts Supporting Industrial Estate, Yingyi Anting Golf Club, Automobile Exhibition and Trade Street, Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center, Shanghai Automobile Museum, Anting New Town (Phase I), Shanghai International Circuit, Shanghai Automobile Expo Park, Tongji University Jia Ding Campus, Shanghai Second-Hand Car Trading Market, and National Motor Vehicle Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Shanghai).

Automobile manufacturing, automobile parts, automobile services, automobile industry, manufacturing of vehicles and core parts, and intelligent connected vehicles.
c) Enterprise situation:
More than 340 "four kinds of modernizations"-related companies have settled in, including over 88 medium-sized and large-scale enterprises. According to the data provided by the Jading District Economic Committee, in 2020, the automobile industry completed a total industrial output value of 367.61 billion yuan (all-caliber), accounting for 68.8% of the industrial proportion of the whole district, and the automobile parts industry completed a total industrial output value of 188.01 billion yuan. The number of enterprises with annual output value exceeding 1 billion yuan increased to four.
